htop
htop - Show processes in more nice looking way
Select processes with Space
F9 will kill all selected processes
Show processes for specified user:
htop -u dmitri
To select and view a specific users' processes, type
u
Press
F4 and type
bash to filter by the word bash
Press
F6 and select sort option to sort the processes by option
Select process - List open files with lsof with
l
L will show the library calls for the highlighted process (using ltrace)
Select process - Trace syscalls with
s
Select process - View the environment variables with
e
F2 configures the display setup
t will display a process tree
