NFS Server/Client configuration on Linux

Install NFS packages:

yum install nfs-utils libnfsidmap
Once the packages are installed, enable and start NFS services:
systemctl enable rpcbind
systemctl enable nfs-server
systemctl start rpcbind
systemctl start nfs-server
systemctl start rpc-statd
systemctl start nfs-idmapd
Create NFS share directory:
mkdir /share
touch /share/{a,b,c}
echo test message > /share/test
Export share:
cat /etc/exports
/share 192.168.122.191(rw,sync,no_root_squash)
exportfs -rv
On client side:
Install client package:
yum install nfs-utils rpcbind
Start rpcbind service:
systemctl start rpcbind
Show mount from NFS server:
showmount -e 192.168.122.107
Export list for 192.168.122.107:
/share 192.168.122.191
Mount NFS share:
mkdir /mnt/share
mount 192.168.122.107:/share /mnt/share/
df -ah
ls -la /mnt/share/
touch /mnt/share/d
To umount it, use umount command.
